Why SDF?

SDF (SBS D Forum) is a knowledge-sharing project and major corporate social responsibility initiative of South Korean broadcaster SBS.
The aim of SDF is to engage in and encourage inquiry and deliberation to help shape the public discourse and guide reflection on the values that we need to guide us through changing times into the future.

Speaker Testimonials

  • I was most impressed by the depth of intellectual engagement demonstrated throughout the program. The forum was very thoughtfully put together in both the intellectual and planning aspects. So intellectually as well as personally it was a very enjoyable experience.

  • I was selective about where I chose to speak on each continent, and in Asia I decided to speak at the SBS D Forum. It was all held very professionally!

  • SBS D Forum was a special opportunity to gain insights from individuals who have engaged in thoughtful study and deliberation on the most important issue of our time - the status of democracy. It's remarkable to see a news media company exercise such leadership in tackling these issues.

  • I was surprised to see so many young faces in the audiences. I hope SBS D Forum can continue to serve as a good place that young people seek out as a source for when they want to find solutions to critical issues affecting our society.

  • It was the first time I was invited to present for the closing session of such a big event like SBS D Forum. I hope to be able to share more of my thoughts on topics like technology finding solutions for disabilities in the future.
